Liposuction Surgery

Liposuction (lipoplasty) can be a procedure used to remove excess fat under your skin. This can be a useful body contouring procedure, performed at Precision Aesthetics. It may be suitable for all areas of the body, including chins, arms, breasts, tummy, back, waist, buttocks, thighs, knees and ankles. Precision Aesthetics uses proven and tested techniques that can deliver excellent results.

Liposuction Surgery

Target Fat Fast!

During your Liposuction Surgery consultation, we will assess your physique to determine the best option. This can include surgical liposuction or laser liposuction:

  • Liposuction surgery:  A small incision can be made and a suction pipe can be pushed to the location of excess body fat. The fat can be loosened manually and then sucked out.
  • Laser Liposuction:  A small incision can be made and a laser probe can be pushed to the location of excess body fat. The fat can be melted via laser and then sucked out with a thin canula.

Precision Aesthetics  was the first provider of SlimLipo™ in the Gauteng area. SlimLipo™ can be considered the latest technological advancement in laser-assisted technology for liposuction surgery, created by Palomar® Medical Technologies. The "SLIM" in SlimLipo™ is an acronym for "Selective Laser Induced Melting" of fat. The SlimLipo™ laser uses the unique 924 nm wavelength of light.

This can be very important because the 924 nm energy may be highly selective for fat. That means that fat could absorb the SlimLipo™ laser energy more than laser energy from other lasers without the unique 924 nm wavelength. This may enable the SlimLipo™ laser to truly target fat and may allow for fat to be melted safely, easier and faster. This laser can specifically liquefy unwanted fat at a lower, safer temperature, which can then be safely removed by tumescent liposuction. This increased melting of fat can allow for more precise fat removal and improved body sculpting.
