Botulinus Neurotoxin and Fillers

Tissue Fillers may be considered the first line in the treatment of ageing skin. They can be used in combinations or with other techniques for facial rejuvenation. This treatment is highly recommended for patients who are experiencing the effects of ageing, especially when the fat stores of the face begin to decrease as underlying Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, and Elastin Fibres begin to deteriorate.

Botulinus Neurotoxin and Fillers

Natural Look with Long Lasting Benefits Botulinus Neurotoxin and fillers can work wonders in improving the look of frown lines between the brows and "crow's feet" wrinkles around the eyes. However, using the newest techniques, the emphasis is now not to remove lines and wrinkles but to reset and adjust the strength of muscle contraction of the face using a combination of neuromodulators (such as Botox or Dysport), as well as Fillers to obtain a refreshed, more balanced, relaxed version of oneself.

The aim is to restore vitality and to attempt to recreate the fullness and proportion that the ageing process can degrade. The human face is the emotional window of the soul, which can express sadness, joy, anger and tiredness, often incorrectly due to ageing, as well as the stresses and strains of life. By changing certain facial proportions and repositioning key anatomical structures one can significantly alter, uplift and the improve these facial expressions, returning the face to a more youthful and attractive state. This is similar to creating a unique work of art using Botox and Fillers as the tools to smooth, sculpt and reform the natural beauty of the human face. Using the latest facial fillers, targeted dermal fillers, and lip fillers, skin care professionals can make a fine art of promoting smoother, more wrinkle-free skin. At Precision Aesthetics we consider each client's face uniquely, and consider carefully which injected sites would be optimal based on the individual and unique anatomy of each patient’s face. Therefore, when it comes to Botulinus neurotoxin and other Injectable, Dr. Ching follows a safe, artistic and unique approach: Inject the correct amount of product in the right place in an effort to preserve each patient’s natural look and to maximise long-lasting results.

Botulinus Neurotoxin Cosmetic was the first FDA-approved prescription product that may temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows and moderate to severe "crow’s feet."

Dysport is a Botulinus Neurotoxin type prescription injection for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults less than 65 years of age. The untreated facial muscles still work normally, allowing you freely to show facial expressions, such as smiling, in untreated areas. Tissue Fillers, also known as Soft Tissue Fillers, are flexible substances that can be injected under the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, plump lips, fill hollow cheeks, repair various facial imperfections, improve scars, and elevate deep folds. The result can include a smoother, more youthful appearance, with minimal “downtime.” Fillers can be placed into the lips to create a fuller, more youthful look, or in the hollows of the cheeks to reduce a gaunt appearance. Facial scarring from acne or injury may also respond well to tissue filler techniques. Tissue Fillers are often considered the first line in the treatment of ageing skin and are frequently used in combinations or with other techniques for facial rejuvenation. This treatment is highly recommended for patients who are experiencing the effects of ageing, especially when the fat stores of the face begin to decrease as underlying Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid and Elastin Fibres begin to deteriorate. They can resemble your body’s hyaluronic acid and can work within the different layers of your skin to replace or restore facial volume and can improve the quality and integrity of your skin.

Dermal fillers are non-permanent and can help revitalise and enhance your facial features by doing the following:

  • Smooth away wrinkles and folds around the mouth and nose
  • Volumise the lips
  • Soften and reduce facial lines across the forehead and around the eyes
  • Define and restore volume to your cheeks
  • Shape and contour, to remove visible signs of aging

Precision Aesthetics uses the following Filler products

  • Precision Aesthetics has a variety of Tissue Filler substances available that can address a wide range of cosmetic flaws to fulfillthe needs of each patient.
  • Each of our Fillers can offer subtle, distinctive benefits and more than one Filler may be used to achieve the best results. Some Fillers may provide longer-lasting results while others allow for more precision, with fine lines gradually bringing the face into better balance, creating an overall rejuvenated appearance.
  • Before the procedure, the face is cleaned and a topical anaesthetic may be applied - some fillers contain a local anaesthetic agent. The Filler will be injected directly into the area to be treated using a thin needle or cannula. After the procedure, there may be some temporary swelling, redness or minor bruising at the injection site. This usually subsides quickly and makeup can be applied immediately after the treatment.

The JUVÉDERM® Vicross range of fillers are FDA-approved non-surgical hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, used to add structure to the face to attempt to counter the effects of ageing and restore facial balance and proportion in a natural and harmonious manner. It can also rapidly smooth moderate to severe wrinkles around the mouth for up to one year. The Vicross range consists of a number of filler types, each with their own unique characteristics. Dr. Ching uses a combination of these fillers in his patients in an effort to tailor and sculpt the face, to restore balance and proportion.

Precision Aesthetics – Juvederm Artists

Juvederm results may only be as good as the physician performing the procedure. He or she should master the process with a gentle touch, an artistic eye and the wisdom of experience.

Why Juvederm®?

Juvederm® is a well-known filler which may help to add volume to your cheeks and temple, as well as helping to diminish wrinkles and folds. It can be smoother than other fillers, which may give you a more natural, "un-worked-on" look. Juvederm is a Hyaluronic Acid — a naturally-occurring element already in your body. When injected under the skin, it can fill, hydrate and add shape as needed. Age-related folds and wrinkles can be smoothed away for a believably youthful appearance. A fresher, fuller appearance may occur immediately and may last for up to one year or longer.

Which formula is right for you?

There are four variations – Juvederm Voluma, Volift, Volbella, and Volite. Each is injected under the skin in an effort to add volume, reduce wrinkles and help to replenish the natural hyaluronic acid you had in the past. Each formulation has a different level of strength, consistency, effectiveness:

VOLUMA®   is the most “firm” of the Vicross range of fillers and is the first and only FDA-approved injectable gel. It can add volume to the cheek area to help correct age-related volume loss in adults over the age of 21. It can be used to restore deeper facial support and structure, which can correct the most severe wrinkles and folds. With optimal treatment, it can provide contour and a subtle lift for up to two years. As one ages, the cheeks can lose volume and skin may begin to sag, so it is not just about lines and wrinkles.

JUVEDERM VOLIFT can be ideal for subtle lip enhancements that may never look "overdone." It can also help restore volume and structure, especially around the nose and mouth. It can be especially useful to lift and recontour the cheek and jawline. Results can last between nine months up to one year.

This is the “softest” of the Vicross filler range. It can be ideal for the Tear Trough area, forehead and the lips as it is mouldable and unlikely to leave nodules when placed under the skin. This filler can last for up to one year.

This is the newest addition to the Juvederm family and can be used to restore hydration and smoothness to the skin. Volite is injected just below the epidermis in tiny amounts in an effort to even out and rehydrate the skin. It can be effective for up to nine months.

The Juvederm filler range helps Dr. Ching to combine the different characteristics of these fillers, to sculpt and shape the face in an effort to restore natural balance and harmony. In effect, it can replace the scalpel with a needle!

Restylane can help to add volume to smooth away wrinkles. A clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid, Restylane is intended to act like your body's own hyaluronic acid, eventually breaking down naturally. Products in the Restylane family can add volume and fullness to the skin, to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the nasolabial folds.
Restylane Vital.

A specially-formulated skin booster is injected using the specially designed Dermaqueen Injector in an effort to place the correct amount of filler at the proper depth. It can help to restore dermal hydration and natural-looking results.

BELOTERO BALANCE is an injectable filler that is used in an effort to smooth moderate-to-severe etched-in lines and wrinkles on your face. Upon injection, it can quickly and evenly integrate into your skin.

Just like Restylane®, Perlane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically intended to act like your body's own hyaluronic acid. It can add volume and fullness to the skin. What makes Perlane different than Restylane is the average size of the particles and the depth of injection, which means it can be a good choice for more severe facial wrinkles that benefit from a deeper injection into the skin.

RADIESSE® is a dermal filler that can temporarily add volume to help smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth).

Hyalual is a unique combination of unlinked Hyaluronic acid mixed with Succinate. It can cause skin lifting, deep moisturising and smoothing of the skin and can also help to improve skin color and reduction of pigmentation. This complex effect on the skin is termed redermalization.

Which injectable is which?

There are many fillers and injectables in the Aesthetic Market – so many as to be overwhelming. Dr. Ching can recommend the optimal filler combination that's right for you.
