The Procedure

  1. Before each Morpheus8 treatment, a numbing cream is applied to reduce any discomfort during treatment. Each treatment will last from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the treated areas.
  2. Patients may need up to three treatments for best results. This, however, depends on each patient’s goals.
  3. During treatment, there is mild discomfort as the very fine, sharp needles penetrate the skin, thereafter a warm sensation from the radiofrequency technology is felt.
  4. The skin will be slightly swollen after treatment, but this inflammation will settle quickly. Minor pinpoint bleeding may be present, and patients often complain of the sensation of minor sunburn.
  5. A good moisturiser and sunscreen must be used after treatment, as we recommend after all treatments.
  6. Immediate results from the Morpheus are noted. Still, as the skin heals and produces collagen, further improvements occur over 6-12 weeks.
